As a working applied economist in the fields of institutions, financial economics, growth, and of course transition, I have amassed a long list of research publications. Sorry, it's not all academic, pie-in-the-sky treatises that argue about fixed-effects versus GMM (although I do that), but hopefully is more in line with my experience and real life: that is, looking at pressing matters of the day and how it affects reality.
